Chapter 10

What?- Today we learned about the social cognitive theory. We learned about modeling. We learned that modeling a behavior is one way to get students to behave the way you want them to. You could also model an activity to students to ensure that they do it exactly the way you want it to be done.

So What? This will effect my learning because it allows me to understand that with some activities I need to model the way that I want them to complete something. I need to show students how to do something so that they can better accomplish the task.

Now What?- I will use modeling in my classroom when I need students to do a certain task. However I do want to be careful with modeling because I want students to be creative and do things in their own way.
